Five current and former Swift Current minor ball players are, or will be representing Team Sask this month.

Baseball Sask has announced their 13U, 15U, and 21U Selects teams - Swift Current will be represented on all three teams.

For the 13U Pee Wee Selects, Pee Wee 57's players Riley Bowers and Ryland Hildebrand will be donning the Team Sask colours at the 13U Baseball Canada Championship in Repentigny, Quebec from August 24-28.

On the 15U Selects team, Brody Alexandre will join Team Sask for the 15U Baseball Canada Championship in Summerside, PEI from August 24-28.

Rounding out the group are a pair of Fritzkes. Tanner was named to the 21U Selects squad that's headed to the 21U Baseball Canada Championship in Ottawa/Gatineau from August 17-20.

Meanwhile, Logan, who has been in Winnipeg the past four days with Team Sask for the Canada Summer Games, had himself a sturdy performance at the plate last night against British Columbia in the final game of round-robin play.

The Midget 'AAA' 57's infielder grabbed a pair of hits, a walk, and a stolen base in three at-bats last night. Unfortunately the bats weren't as hot across the roster, as Team Sask fell to Team B.C. 2-1. In the process, they also fell to third place in the Group A standings.
