A wave of Swift Current wrestlers were in the Friendly City over the weekend for the South Saskatchewan Open tournament.

Saturday saw the high school tournament at Moose Jaw Peacock Collegiate.

Swift Current Comp wrestlers saw a trio of medals in the Elite division, and one in Novice:

1st - Sebastien Marchand (Elite)
2nd - Elijah Harden (Elite)
3rd - Luke Nelson (Elite)
3rd - Carlie McGregor (Novice)

Then on Sunday, 14 Swift Current Titans Wrestling Club wrestlers hit the mats.

2nd - Skylar Vandendort (Bantam Female 42-45 kg)
2nd - Maddex Gording-Dovell (Bantam Male 53-54 kg)
3rd - Lake Tardif (Pee Wee 44-47 kg)
3rd - Walter Hunter-Adashynski (Pee Wee 50-54 kg)
3rd - Gemma Tumback (Freshie 30-32 kg)
3rd - Joran Gryde (Bantam Male 51-53 kg)
4th - Carter Stad (Novice 25-26 kg)

Swift Current Comp wrestlers will next be on the mats March 2 at SHSAA Regionals in Weyburn.
