The road to the South Saskatchewan Pee Wee 'AA' Minor Hockey League Championship will go through Swift Current.

The SWT Pee Wee Broncos secured first place in league standings over the weekend with a pair of wins in Estevan.

Needing just two points against the second-place Bruins to lock up first place, the Broncos earned a full four.

Swift Current downed Estevan 6-4 on Friday before once again disposing of the Bruins 6-3 on Saturday.

As he has all season, Kalan Lind showcased his offensive skill set over the weekend.

After posting a goal and an assist on Friday, the league scoring leader added two more goals on Saturday, bringing his season totals to 49 goals and 34 assists in 22 games.

Rylan Hildebrand picked up the win in goal for Swift Current in both contests.

The Broncos will now prepare for a weekend trip to Melville, before rounding out their regular season on February 15th when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors.
