A late third period goal from Daniel Ganert helped the SWT Pee Wee Broncos sneak out of Regina with a game one victory in their best of three South Provincial final.

Ganert found the back of the net for the second time in the contest with just 5:46 left to play, as the Broncos completed a third period comeback to win 7-6 over the Tigers.

The game started off as a back and forth affair.

Regina got on the board first midway through the opening frame, but Kalan Lind answered for Swift Current with 6:10 left in the first.

Tied 1-1 after one, the Tigers jumped out in front again just two minutes into the second period.

Once again, Lind had the answer for the Broncos.

Kalan scored his second goal of the game just over eight minutes into the frame to tie the score 2-2.

In the final six minutes of the period, Regina did their best to pull away from Swift Current.

The Tigers scored back-to-back goals to take a 4-2 lead, however, just twelve seconds after Regina's fourth goal, Dayne Feicht trimmed the lead back down to one.

Feicht tallied his first goal of provincials, narrowing the Tiger lead to 4-3.

Although the game appeared to be heading into the second intermission with the score at 4-3, Regina had a different idea.

With only 33 seconds remaining in the period, the Tigers extended their lead to 5-3 heading into the break.

Once the puck dropped to start the third period though, the Broncos began their comeback.

Three straight goals in the first ten minutes of the frame gave Swift Current their first lead of the contest at 6-5.

Ganert put home his first of two goals on the night to pull the Broncos within one, before Lind's third goal evened the score, which was followed by Jaydon Jessiman giving the Broncos a 6-5 advantage.

With 6:03 left to play in the third, the Tigers were able to respond.

Regina's sixth goal of the game knotted the score 6-6, but not for long.

Just 17 seconds later, Ganert's second goal put Swift Current back out in front, giving them to a 7-6 lead they would not relinquish.

With the win, the Broncos will now have a chance to advance to the Pee Wee 'AA' Provincial Final on Monday night.

The Broncos will host the Tigers at the Fairview Arenas with puck drop scheduled for 5:45pm.

If necessary, game three would be played Wednesday back in Regina.
