The home-opener went off without a hitch for the Swift Current Yard Goats.
Playing their first home game of the 2017 season, the defending Sask-Alta League champions had no issues Tuesday night, as they disposed of the Climax Cardinals 19-0.
The victory moves the Goats to 2-0 on the season, putting them in top-spot in the Sask-Alta's East Division.
For Climax, the contest was their first of the season, as they fell to 0-1.
Up next for the Yard Goats will be a trip to Medicine Hat on Saturday, in which they will battle both the Medicine Hat Black Sox and Medicine Hat Vipers.
For the Cardinals, they will prepare for a visit to Maple Creek on Thursday.
Elsewhere in the Sask-Alta Baseball League Tuesday night, the Black Sox took care of the Richmound Rockets 3-2.
The Black Sox improved to 2-0 with the win, while Richmound dropped to 0-2.
