The Swift Current Yard Goats will be the home team for the 2017 Sask-Alta Baseball League playoff tournament.

In a battle between the regular season East and West division winners, the Yard Goats clinched the right to host with a 10-1 victory over the Burstall Braves.

Meanwhile in Sask-Alta playoff action, three of the four berths in the tournament have been determined.

In the West Division play-in game, the Richmound Rockets punched their ticket with an 11-8 win over Maple Creek.

On the East side, the final berth will be determined when the Cabri River Rats host the Shaunavon Badgers on Tuesday.

The playoff tournament will take place next weekend in Swift Current.
