A man charged with kidnapping after an incident that allegedly began in Swift Current was in Brandon Provincial Court yesterday, where he had one charge stayed.

Manitoba's Christopher Drover was out on bail before being arrested for an alleged curfew violation.

Now he's still facing the kidnapping charge.

Three others were charged along with Drover after the summer incident. Christopher Roskam entered a guilty plea earlier to the lesser charge of forcible confinement. Robert Ballingall and David Joss are also charged with kidnapping.

Drover, Ballingall, and Joss are all set to appear next in Swift Current Provincial Court on October 24.
