Today is International Museum Day.

The Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Center in Shaunavon is holding a special evening of activities to celebrate International Museum Day.

There will be a meet and greet happening in The Gallery at the Museum, as well as children's activities, museum vault tours and a Pulled Pork supper.

Joanne Gregoire is the Director of Economic Development and Culture for the Town of Shaunavon. She says, "I think it will be just a nice way to come out to meet your friends and neighbors and do a little socializing and get to meet some of the new people and see what's going on for the summer. Cause there's lots of exciting things planned at the Museum and with Wellness and Leisure. So, we'll have lots of information for people too."

The events go at The Gallery today from four until seven thirty p.m.

The Pulled Pork supper will begin at five o'clock.
