A trauma/emergency room, lab/x-ray service centre, and EMS will all be located in the new facility.

The project is funded through an 80/20 split funding formula with the provincial government.

The Government will contribute $9.6 million and the remaining $2.4 million will be the responsibility of the local municipalities, towards the project.

The project is to be completed in the summer of 2018.
