A Swift Current man involved in an early January standoff will have to wait another week to find out if he's eligible for bail.

32-year-old Jordan Marleau had his in-person hearing adjourned until March 6th, when he will appear by video link at 9:30 a.m.

The case had been adjourned two weeks ago and the judge has determined they still need more time to make a decision on his eligibility for bail.

Marleau is facing five drug-related charges under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act stemming from an incident that occurred on December 21st, 2016 in Swift Current.

He is also facing one charge of resisting arrest from the January 2nd day-long standoff with police.

Marleau was in Swift Current Provincial Court yesterday morning and was returned to Regina following the adjournment.
