Three men who were charged with the alleged kidnapping of a person in June 2018 had their preliminary hearings last week.

The hearings happened over three days in Swift Current Provincial Court and saw Christopher Drover, David Joss, and Robert Ballingall committed for a trial in the Court of Queen's Bench.

No dates for their trail have been set.

Christopher Roskam was also charged with kidnapping but entered a guilty plea to the lesser offence of forcible confinement.

The men were charged after allegedly dragging a person out of a Swift Current residence in June and bringing them to Manitoba. The person escaped the next day and made it back to Saskatchewan.
