The community of Maple Creek has elected their new Mayor.

Unofficial results of the by-election from Diane Moss, Maple Creek Town Administrator, say it was Michelle McKenzie winning the mayoral seat with 405 votes over Tina Cresswell with 153 votes.

Voting was held throughout the day on Wednesday at the Maple Creek Armories.
