A former teacher facing child pornography charges in Saskatoon, as well as sexual exploitation and child luring charges out of Red Deer, is now reportedly living in Moose Jaw.

39-year-old Rhett Jeffrey Lundgren was arrested back in December and the subsequent investigation led to further charges relating to an alleged incident with a teen back in 2009.

He was back in Red Deer court this week and was released based on residing in Moose Jaw. With his Saskatoon case, Lundgren was instructed to reside with his father due to breaching those release conditions.

"We're very aware of his presence here in Moose Jaw and we're taking steps to closely monitor the conditions that he's been placed upon by the courts," said Sgt. Rick Johns of the Moose Jaw Police. "Well anytime you send your children into public places you should always be aware of whose around and keep an eye on your kids."

Johns also mentioned parents should be cautious of who they leave their children in the care of at any time, but if you notice Lundgren in an area where kids may be you should phone the authorities.

"If somebody feels they've spotted him in a public place where there are children present, it's certainly worthy of a call to the police so we can follow up with the fact of whether he's abiding by his conditions."

He must also follow a curfew, have no contact with the alleged victims and he is not to have unsupervised contact with minors.
