The Shaunavon Handi Van Association is a non-profit group that supplies a van to people in the community to use for the transportation of a handicapped person, either young or old.

It started operating in January of this year and the vehicle, which can seat up to 12 people, cost over $100,000 to purchase.

The group held a Hot Dog Fundraiser last week in Shaunavon and Co-Director of the Shaunavon Handi Van Association, Sara Stukings, says the day went very well. She adds, "The fundraising money is going to the operations and maintenance for the van. We are looking to getting it undercoated and that kind of thing, so the money will go towards that. As well, we kinda just wanted to show the community the van."

The group raised just over $1200 for The Shaunavon Handi Van.
