Shaunavon RCMP Detachment.

This is the 7th year that the Shaunavon RCMP have teamed up with the Town of Shaunavon, and local businesses The Snack Shack and Alley Oops to run their Positive Ticketing Campaign.

Sergeant Dan Archibald with the Shaunavon RCMP Detachment says, "Any person who is caught or observed by the RCMP wearing safety equipment while bicycling and skateboarding such as helmets full gear and, in the case of skateboarding, elbow pads, shin pads are awarded with a Positive Ticket."

Tickets can be redeemed at Alley Oops for a Slush Puppy Fizz, or at The Snack Shack for an ice cream cone.

Sergeant Archibald reminds those who receive a ticket to please put their name and phone number on it when you redeem it to be eligible to be entered in the draw for one of four draws at the end of the season for $25 Chamber Cheque certificates.

The 2017 Positive Ticketing Campaign is running now until the end of the summer.
