The court case for a man facing a charge of kidnapping was pushed back in Swift Current Provincial Court this morning.

Christopher Drover - a 47-year-old Brandon, Man. - had his case before the court, but it was adjourned to September 19 where he's expected to appear at 1:30 p.m.

Drover did not make an appearance today, but is out after posting $10,000 bail and is on house arrest.

Drover was one of four men from Manitoba charged after a man was allegedly taken from a Swift Current residence, brought to Brandon, and eventually escaped.

Christopher Roskam (26 years old from Brandon) pleaded guilty to the lesser offence of forcible confinement.

David Joss (50 years old of Neepawa, Man.) and Robert Ballingall (44 of Brandon) are also charged with kidnapping, and are out on bail and under house arrest. Their next appearances are set for August 22 at 10:30 a.m. in Swift Current Provincial Court.
