In Swift Current Provincial Court yesterday, a kidnapping case was pushed back.

Manitoba's Christopher Drover had an afternoon appearance but his case was adjourned to October 24.

The charge stems back to an incident in June where a man was allegedly taken from a Swift Current residence and brought to Manitoba before escaping the next day.

Drover was one of four men from Manitoba charged with kidnapping. One of the others wound up pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of forcible confinement.
