A new signage initiative by The Gull Lake Economic Development Committee and The Town of Gull Lake is seeing some important signage on the Trans Canada Highway.

Lindsay Alliban is the Gull Lake Economic Development Officer. She explained how this new signage came about. "So, we have an Economic Development Team comprised of some council members, and some local business owners and just local residents. And we kind of identified that we need some better signage, just kinda showing what Gull Lake has to offer."

The sign is located on the Trans Canada Highway in the eastbound lane, just west of the community and promotes the types of businesses available in Gull Lake.

Future plans include a similar sign on Highway 37 just south of Gull Lake as you travel from Shaunavon, as well as new downtown signage.
