The Pancake Breakfast kicks off Boomtown Days on Saturday.

It's a huge Boomtown Days Weekend coming up in Shaunavon.

And it wouldn't be a Boomtown Days celebration without the annual  parades and the pancake breakfast, both of which happen on Saturday.

Joanne Gregoire from the Boomtown Days Committee says, "Our Kiddies Parade will start at 10:30 a.m. It starts at the United Church parking lot and then it actually comes south down Center Street to first avenue. And right following that, at eleven o'clock sharp will be our Boomtown Days main parade of course with the theme of Canada 150."

The Main Parade will start at the south end of Center Street and head north up Center and finish off at the Hospital.

Parade participants are asked to be in the line up at the south end of Center Street no later than 10:15 that morning.

Kiddies Parade participants meet at the United Church parking lot at 10:15.

And you can start your Boomtown Days Saturday off right at the Pancake Breakfast sponsored by Robertson Family Group.

Chris Craig from Robertsons says, "So, we're having it at the Co Op parking lot, at the Grocery  Store there, and it's running from eight till ten a.m. The charge is five dollars per plate and we are donating the money to the Perk Up the Parks Splash Park and to the Handi Van Association."

Come fill up on pancakes, sausages, juice and coffee before you head out for a full day of Boomtown fun.

Check out the Boomtown Days Parade at 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
