After a proclamation in Council Chambers this past Monday, Pride Week is officially here in Swift Current and the southwest.
Kicking the week off is a flag raising ceremony in Market Square on Monday at 12:15 pm.
Events are planned all week for the first time in the southwest - the previous five years only had a Pride Day.
The week will wrap up on Saturday with perhaps the busiest day of the week.
A Family BBQ, Pride dance and, mostly noteably, a Pride March will end off the week.
