It's crunch time for the Swift Current Salvation Army's Christmas campaign.

With only a week until the big day, they will be handing out some of the 273 Christmas hampers today and the rest on Thursday.

Moneywise as of Saturday they'd raised 63 per cent of their goal with equates to $138,160, leaving them just under $82,000 shy of their goal.

And it was a big week for angel tree tags being brought back with 127 being returned leaving only three out of 227 still unreturned.
