As the transition period from 12 health regions to one health authority continues, the Saskatchewan Health Authority now has a logo.

In a release the Health Authority said that the green and yellow stylized outline of Saskatchewan represents the forests in the north and the grain fields of the south and emphasizes the authority’s commitment to providing quality healthcare for the whole province, without regional boundaries.

Also, the Health Authority said they are still on track to launch operations by December 4.

On December 4; the Provincial Health Authority Act will be proclaimed and legally transition the 12 Regional Health Authorities to the Saskatchewan Health Authority, including the transfer of employees and operations.
