An Eastend family made a special trek to Boston on Sunday April 8th to walk with thousands of others at the Walk of Champions.

Bonnie Gleim is the Chair of the Saskatchewan MS Society and was invited to represent our province at the Walk, which raises awareness and funds for research and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Bonnie was accompanied by her husband Stacey and daughter Madison, and  she says the Walk of Champions was truly amazing. "It's inspiring. It just made you feel so good to be surrounded by that many people that want the same thing..to end MS."

Gleim says there is no official dollars amounts yet from the Walk of Champions. Next years Walk of Champions will take place in Los Angeles.
