Over the weekend, Swift Current residents had the chance to do some early spring shopping at the annual Step into Spring Home and Leisure Show.
The 38th incarnation of the show featured over 75 vendors who set up shop in the Stockade building and featured something for all ages.
Tracey Stevenson, the manager of the Swift Current Ag & Ex, said that this event was another great year.
"The event went really good," she said. "We've had beautiful weather and a steady flow of traffic since Friday night. The vendors were happy, and the customers were finding a good selection of spring ideas and renovation."
Stevenson said that they like hosting this event because it gives the vendors a chance to showcase their products and it gives the community a chance to shop, visit, and have a great time.
"It's just a great opportunity to provide a place for vendors and businesses to promote their business, and we just love doing this for the community. It seems like everybody has been fairly happy, everybody is smiling and getting some new ideas and their shopping done."
Stevenson added that the money raised in the event will go towards helping funding Frontier Days and the Discover the Farm Show held later his year.
