It's an annual event every September to support cancer research, and this year, due to COVID-19, it will be going virtual.

The Terry Fox Run is being this Sunday September 20. In Shaunavon the run is normally held starting from The Crescent Point Wickenheiser Center, however, Director of Wellness and Leisure for The Town of Shaunavon, Dana Dale, says the run will look very different this year.

"This year, just because of COVID-19 and restrictions and everything, it's limited to just virtually. So,we won't have that in person registration. And ya, you can kinda go anytime. There's no designated time for it this year either."

Anyone taking part in the Terry Fox Run is asked to register online at the Terry Fox website.

This is the 40th anniversary of The Terry Fox Run.

Last year Shaunavon raised $340.00.
