The 36th year of the Shaunavon Horse Show was held this past weekend, Saturday and Sunday, at the Ron Winquist Arena, just west of Shaunavon.

It was another successful show as Horse Show Secretary Joanne Thronberg explained. "We ran 88 classes, so there's usually four different-there's Senior, Junior A, Junior B, Junior C, and some Pee Wee classes in each type of class."

Thronberg added that with the hot temperatures over the two days of the Show they took a longer break at noon for the riders and the horses to cool down.

All money raised goes back in to the Club for the next year's Show. No dollar amounts raised have been finalized yet.
