As work continues so that power can be sent from the Chinook Power Station by Swift Current to the Pasqua Switching Station east of Moose Jaw, traffic delays are expected to continue around Herbert and Chaplin.
SaskPower is building a new power line, so traffic is being slowed down or stopped intermittently on Highway 1.
If you're traveling on Hwy 1 (outside of Chaplin/Herbert) this week, please plan yourself some extra time. We’re building a new power line to support the Chinook Power Station outside Swift Current. So we need to slow down and stop traffic for short periods of time. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/tUjQeGZYUw
