Three people from around Swift Current were arrested on Wednesday on drug-trafficking charges.

Their names haven't been released for investigative purposes, but police do say search warrants executed on three residences and two vehicles in Swift Current revealed cocaine, hydromorphone pills (an opioid painkiller), marijuana, and $30,000 cash.

Arrested were a 28-year-old female, and 29- and 51-year-old males.

The 28 and 29 year olds were charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession of marijuana.

The 51 year old was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

All three are scheduled to appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on December 6 at 9:30 a.m.
