Traffic is no longer restricted on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Tompkins.

A semi tractor/trailer tipped over on the Trans-Canada early this morning, causing its contents to be strewn over the roadway.

The incident forced Maple Creek RCMP officers to delay and re-route traffic onto the westbound lanes until approximately 2:30pm.

In a release from RCMP Media Relations, Police state the scene has been cleared and all four lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway are fully open to motorists at this time.

They also state that the investigation into the incident is continuing.
