The Shaunavon KidSport committee held a fundraiser with a new twist this past Tuesday and Wednesday May 26 and 27,

The group was not able to hold their annual Hot Dog Sale due to COVID-19 so, instead, they sold virtual hot dogs.

Committee member, Lisa Schmit, says they are thrilled that the community got behind this unique fundraiser.

They sold 355 virtual hot dogs and raised a total of $1775.45.

Shaunavon KidSport is an important local charity and every virtual hot dog consumed helps them keep kids playing in the community.

All funds raised at the sale stay in Shaunavon to support local families.
