Cameron Hausinger scored midway through the third period and Saskatoon went perfect in the shootout to earn a 4-3 victory over the Swift Current Broncos during WHL pre-season action in Regina.

Glenn Gawdin, Owen Blocker and Lane Pederson scored for Swift Current as they came out flying in the first period.

Saskatoon started to chip away at that lead throughout the next two periods as Wyatt Sloboshan, Mark Rubinchik and eventually Hausinger forced overtime.

Gawdin scored for the Broncos in the shootou, but all three Blades shooters were able to beat Bailey Brkin to pick up the win.

Brkin stopped 11 of 13 Blades shots in the second half of the game. Taz Burman made 10 saves on 11 Saskatoon shots.

Blades goaltender Joel Gryzbowski stopped 31 saves giving his team a chance to come from behind.

Artyom Minulin's two assists give him five in two pre-season games so far this season.

The Broncos continue the exhibition season in Red Deer against Moose Jaw on Saturday afternoon.
