The Western Hockey League announced on Tuesday that Broncos goaltender Reid Dyck has been named to the Central Division’s Second All-Star team.

Dyck, the 2004-born netminder out of Winkler, Manitoba, has put up career highs in wins, goals-against-average, and save-percentage this season. His 25-7-2-0 record is good for tied for eighth in the WHL in wins, in just 35 games played. Dyck earned a 2.70 goals-against average this season, along with a .911 save-percentage which was good for fifth in the WHL. He also notched two shutouts on the season, which came in back-to-back games on January 31st and February 2nd.

The Boston Bruins prospect also hit 100 games played in his WHL back on March 1st, becoming just the 10th Bronco goalie in modern team history (Since 1986/1987) to reach the milestone. He currently ranks eighth on the Broncos Modern All-Time Wins list with 49. His 25 wins this season are the most in a season by a single Broncos goalie since 2013/2014.

Dyck was also named the Goalie of the Week in the WHL on two occasions, followed by a Goalie of the Month nod for February.

Originally a third-round pick by the Broncos in the 2019 WHL Draft, Dyck was then taken in the sixth-round of the 2022 NHL Draft (183rd Overall), by the Bruins.

Dyck and the Broncos open their playoffs against the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Friday, March 29. Tickets are available at tickets.scbroncos.com or at The Stable.
