The Female Midget 'AA' Broncos started their season over the weekend with a tie and a loss.

The Broncos and Weyburn Drillers finished their opening game in a 3-3 draw, before Weyburn downed the Titans 5-1 on Sunday.

Courtney Funk scored a pair of goals for Swift Current on Saturday, while Chelsea Wilson had the Broncos lone goal on Sunday.

Next up for the Broncos is a pair of road games against the Parkland Lions on Saturday and Sunday.
