Southwest residents are anticipating another exciting opportunity with the upcoming Ladybug Tradeshow on Saturday, May 4.

The one-day show will run from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Kinetic Park Stockade in Swift Current and admission is $6 per person at the door.

Jennifer Collinson, co-organizer of the Ladybug Tradeshow and local small business owner, enjoys coordinating the event alongside her sister, who owns another small business in Swift Current.

"This particular May show that we do, the Ladybug Tradeshow, it's great timing because it's just the week before Mother's Day so you have a chance to get a unique Mother's Day gift," said Collinson.

Products at the show will include pottery, wood works, spices, baking, jewelry, accessories, pet supplies, garden items, crafts, soaps, clothing, and more.

"Our tradeshows give all the local vendors, some from surrounding cities as well, a chance to showcase their goods and sell stuff in the local economy here," she added.

The vendors will stay set up for the entirety of the event and a list of the vendors can be found on Facebook at the Ladybug Tradeshow 2024.

"We've been producing sold-out shows for over 15 years in Swift Current," Collinson notes.

Additionally, there are giveaways and prizes available to win in the week leading up to the tradeshow. Anyone interested in more information can visit the Tradeshow Sisters on Facebook or Instagram or check out their website.
