Dwayne Gilbertson appeared in Swift Current Provincial Court this morning, instead of his scheduled adjournment of Monday, October 24th.

Gilbertson, who was self-represented, entered guilty pleas to Judge Karl Bazin on his charges of:

- possession of meth-amphetamines for the purpose of trafficking,

- possession of a prohibited weapon (stun gun)

- possession of a prohibited weapon (brass knuckles)

Gilbertson's charges of possessing Breaking and Entering equipment, as well as possession of stolen property amounting to less than $5000, were both stayed.

The 50-year old Swift Current resident's case has now been adjourned until December 5th in Provincial Court, where the Court will decide if they agree on Crown Prosecutor Curtis Wiebe's discussed sentence of 18 months of jail time.

Upon payment of his $500 cash bail, Gilbertson would be conditionally released to his current residence of 461 1st Ave NE, the site of the drug raid earlier this week.

Conditions of Dwayne Gilbertson's release include:
