As a joint effort between the Village of Frontier and the Frontier Economic Development Committee they have developed a Community Farm Plan to raise money for their town.

Payton Ham is the President of the Economic Development Committee. She explained their plan: "The Village owned the land right around the actual village itself. It had been previously rented out. And we, as a group, knew this  land existed and kind of started to just look into it. About what it would take to get volunteers to farm it, and get volunteers to donate seed, fertilizer and chemical etc."

There is approximately 80-909 acres of farmable land, and Ham says the response from the area has been fantastic.

Funds from the crop planted will go back into the community of Frontier, with their first goal being to fix and replace the Town Hall floor.
