The Swift Current 57's were just one out away from snapping their three-game losing streak, but a walk-off home run by the Miller Express gave Moose Jaw a 5-4 win Tuesday night.

The 57's built a 4-3 lead on a two-run home run by Mathew Ward and two RBI by Logan Grant on a sacrifice fly in the first inning and a bases-loaded walk in the seventh. Tejean Smith pitched the ninth inning looking for his fourth save of the season, but after retiring his first two batters, Zach Campbell got on with a single and then Nate Mensik ended the game with a two-run homer to send the Moose Jaw fans home happy.

Smith took the loss on the mound for the 57's while starter Brandon Byler allowed four hits and one earned run over 4.2 innings. Miller Express starter Cameron Dunn struck out three batters over five innings and Nick Hill got the win in relief.

Swift Current is now 13-11 and are four games behind the Miller Express for first place in the East Division and two games ahead of the third-place Regina Red Sox, whom they face in the Queen City on Wednesday night.
