The Swift Current 57's played a Father's Day matinee in Medicine Hat on Sunday, where they came away with an 8-7 win over the Mavericks in 10 innings.

Logan Stockton and Owen Stevenson had three RBI each while Tejean Smith drove in a pair of runs and picked up his third save of the season. Kenny Jinks got the win on the mound in relief.

The win improves Swift Current to 11-6 and they remain in a tie with the Moose Jaw Miller Express for the East Division lead.

Meanwhile, the 57's and Sylvan Lake Gulls will have to wait yet another day for their first-ever matchup. With more rain in the forecast on Monday, their make-up game for last Wednesday's rainout has been postponed for a second time. No new date has been announced.

Swift Current's next game is at Mitchell Field against the Lethbridge Bulls on Tuesday at 7:05pm.
