The Assiniboia RCMP reported on Friday that two cases currently under investigation have produced updates.

The earlier of the two was a shoplifting incident at a food store in Assiniboia on February 11.

RCMP are now asking the public for assistance identifying the following individual, who they say is believed to have information regarding the matter.

They add that video surveillance shows the potential for a slight limp in the individual's walking stride.

The other update was in regards to a break and enter on April 1 near the Hamlet of Congress.

The Assiniboia RCMP have noted that they've received multiple reports of a vehicle similar to the black Nissan Sentra on other properties near the initial occurrence.
