Swift Current's local branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association has organized some fun for tomorrow.

Saturday will be a great day to participate in the Spring Fling Disc Golf Tournament being put on by the CMHA over at Riverside Park.

Todd Vallee is the executive director of the local CMHA branch and is eager to see people who maybe haven't tried disc golf before giving it a shot.

"It's really about getting out there getting active and you know, maybe picking up a few pointers from the folks that have done it before," said Vallee. "It's going to be fun for everyone, and it's really something that you can really improve upon within it within a year or two."

Registration will begin on sight at 1:30 p.m. It is preferred for people to pre-register, and to arrive in a pre-assembled team of four if possible.

"We have folks that are signing up as singles," clarified Vallee. "We just want to get everybody organized."

The tournament will kick off around 2:30 p.m. Then, after the tournament, there will be food provided.
