Swift Current product Anthony Wilson becomes the sixth southwest prospect to be selected in the 2020 SJHL Bantam Draft.

Wilson was drafted 64th overall in the sixth round by the Kindersley Klippers.

The forward spent the past season in the CSSBHL with the Northern Alberta Xtreme Bantam Prep, posting nine goals and 27 points in 29 regular-season games. He had a goal and four points in two playoff games as well.

The Klippers also drafted Wilson's older brother - 2003-born defenseman Wyatt - in the fifth round (55th overall) of the 2018 SJHL Bantam Draft.

Kindersley ended the 2019-20 SJHL regular-season on the outside of the playoffs looking in. They finished with a 24-27-6-1 record and in ninth place, just missing the eight-team playoff bracket.

Meanwhile, Wilson was also drafted by the Victoria Royals in the third round (59th overall) of the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
