The man who housed the Kingdom of Canada group at the former Richmound School was back in court this week, where his matters were once again adjourned.

Ricky Manz had matters in Swift Current Provincial Court on Wednesday morning.

Although the charge of intimidation of a justice system participant was stayed in March, the 62-year-old still faces a variety of charges, including assault, uttering a threat, resisting arrest, and more.

Manz's lawyer, Clinton Yarshenko, said that since the disclosure is quite voluminous, more time is necessary to confirm that everything has been received by both parties.

"I'd like to get a list of opposed submissions to know how long we'd need for a trial," said Yarshenko.

Trial would be held in Leader, and with dates filling up, a trial is likely to be scheduled for 2027.

Manz will return to Swift Current Provincial Court on June 24, during which time the court is hopeful to set a trial date.
