Update: A Jack-knifed Semi 12 kilometres west of Swift Current is blocking the westbound lanes of Highway #1 to Gull Lake. RCMP are on-site. Lane and speed restrictions are in effect and passing is prohibited.
A freezing rain warning has been issued for areas southwest corner of the province including Swift Current, Kyle, Herbert, Cabri, Lucky Lake, Leader and Gull Lake.
A low out of northern Montana is pushing an area of snow and rain up into areas of southwest Saskatchewan.
It's expected to move off later this morning; becoming approximately two centimetres of snow in the afternoon, however, surfaces such as highways, roads and walkways wills till remain a slippery hazard until temperatures warm above zero later this afternoon.
Swift Current is expecting a high of two degrees.
