He says they’ve made some changes to the original plan and now plan to process about 400 head a day in order to make the plant viable. The expenditures are running around 40 million dollars. Parsons says they plan to run two shifts a day to process the 400 animals. He adds the two shifts will total about 220 employees. Last week the group met with the Federal Governments Regional Minister for Saskatchewan Carol Skelton. She likes the project and wants to see it built encouraging the group to contact the Business Development Bank.
