Get ready to grab the keys and fill up the tank to head to Gull Lake this weekend.

Saturday, the SWT Lyceum Theatre will be partnering with the Eliminators Car Club for their second annual Show n' Shine Movie Night. This year, they are also partnering with the Autumn House, which will be barbecuing at the event.

Stuart Johnson, president of the Eliminators Car Club, is excited to show off one of the ultimate car enthusiast classic films.

"It's just kind of one of those staple car guy movies," said Johnson. "It would be neat to see a vintage movie on the big screen again. It's been probably a few years since anybody got to see that in a theatre."

The car show portion of the event will begin at 6 p.m. and run till 7 p.m. The movie will start at 7:15 p.m.

American Graffiti is a classic story about the last day of summer in a small Californian town. Throughout the day-in-the-life adventure, they encounter different elements, listen to a mysterious radio jockey, and engage in some automotive hijinks.

During the first run of this event last year, where the SWT Lyceum Theatre aired Dazed and Confused, the money raised at the event all went to its renovations. This year, the money will once again go to covering the modernization of the Gull Lake movie venue.

"The prices aren't set on the burgers and stuff yet, but for the movie itself will be 10 bucks for entrance," said Johnson. "That gets you a medium popcorn and a pop. If you just want to watch the movie, it'll be 5 bucks."

The car show will be free to enter a vehicle into, and free to attend. It will be held on the street in front of the SWT Lyceum Theatre, with parking spots going to whoever gets to them first.
