His debut comes after former Broncos captain Justin Dowling played his first NHL game with Dallas earlier this season.
Honka put up 56 points in 62 games during his only WHL season before being drafted by the Stars in the first round that spring.

The young Finn has 87 points in 157 AHL games including 12 in 16 games this season.
He is currently the fourth leading scoring defenceman in the AHL.
With John Kingberg sitting out tonight Honka will also get an opportunity to play on Dallas' top power play unit.
