Saskatchewan’s first ever Ethanol Symposium was held yesterday at Jubilee Arena in Shaunavon.

Action Southwest and Cypress Agri Energy partnered together to being this informational day to the southwest. 

400 people were in attendance to hear guest speakers such as Deputy Premier and Minister of Regional Economic and Co-operative Development, Clay Serby, President of the Saskatchewan Ethanol Development Council, Lionel LaBelle and Kory Teneycke, Director of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association, among others.

Cypress Agri Energy hopes to build a 90 million-litre Ethanol plant at Shaunavon.
