Wright - Iva Jenora - It is with great sadness the family of Iva Wright announce her passing on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the age of 90.  Iva is survived by her two daughters Joanne Palecek (Ron), and Donna Peters (Joe).  Grandchildren Mark Palecek (Rosie), Janice Ewen (Chad), and Maddie Peters.  Great-grandchildren Leo, Charlie, and Heidi Ewen, Nico Palecek.  She is also survived by her sisters Myrtle (Walt) Peters, and Carolyn (Gary) Langrish; sister-in-laws Rose Bollinger, Frieda Bollinger as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her husband Bob Wright; parents Eugene and Helen Bollinger; and parents-in-law Frank and Emma Wright.  Sister-in-law Marybelle (Ken) Undseth, and sister Jean (Don) Reid, Kenneth, Vernon, Darwin, and Lloyd Bollinger.  Mom was born July 19, 1931, in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan and received her teaching certificate from Normal School in Moose Jaw.  She taught at Stewart Valley, Saskatchewan prior to marrying Dad in 1954 at which time they took over the Wright family farm in the Ohioville District.  They operated the farm as a team while raising their two daughters.  They retired to their home in Swift Current in 1994.  In October 2010 they moved to Regina and in 2017 Mom made the move to Red Deer.  Mom was an active member of the United Church and a member of Eastern Star and was involved in many community activities.  At Mom's request there will be no formal funeral.  In memory of Iva, donations can be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Canada, or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home and Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services.  To express your sympathy to the family please visit our website at www.warrensfuneralhome.com and express your sympathy on the tribute wall.
