It’s not just about solving crimes; it’s about preventing them.

January is Crimestoppers Month here in Saskatchewan.

Sergeant Doug Coleman says that it’s the public who makes Crimestoppers so successful.

They have had 3,000 crimes solved, and 2,600 arrests made in the last 20 years.

In those 20 years, Crimestoppers has received over 90,000 calls.

Coleman says anyone with a tip can call 1-800-222-TIPS or  *99 on their cellphone.
