The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires picked up their second overtime win in as many days with a 3-2 victory over the Tisdale Trojans to wrap up a weekend road swing on Sunday.

Brendan Quinn-Lagria and Campbell Pinsonneault scored power play goals late in the first period to put the Legionnaires up 2-0 after 20 minutes. Jack Bechard scored late in the second and early in the third to tie the game back up for Tisdale. The 2-2 tie would hold up until 46 seconds into overtime, when Jace Egland scored his team-leading 11th goal of the season to give the Legionnaires a sweep of a three-game weekend and their 10th win in a row.

Berney Weston made 19 saves as Legionnaires outshot the Trojans 41-21.

Swift Current (16-3-0-1) now sit in second place in the league standings and will host the Battlefords North Stars in their next games on Saturday and Sunday at InnovationPlex.
